Cedar Hill State Park
Cedar Hill State Park provides an outdoor playground and beautiful landscape. The park, which is named after a local cattle trader, is near Joe Pool Lake in south Dallas. The park is not very far from the city of Frisco. It offers miles of riding on wooded trails, as well as scenic views of the surrounding area. The park has a network of trails that go past visitor's attractions such as historical sites, park buildings, and nature scenes. Mountain Biking The park features a network of trails that start near the trailhead in the northwest corner of the park and travel south to the La Salle River drainage. Mountain biking is a popular activity at the park. The DORBA Trail, named for the legendary members of the Dallas Off-Road Biking Association has been built by several mountain bikers.
