Independence National Historical Park is probably the largest local attraction in Philadelphia. It's America's oldest national historic square mile, which houses the original home of the United States of America as well as other significant landmarks. Lone Star Park, a popular horse racing track in Texas, is one of the most visited horse racing facilities in the U.S. It is also one of the largest horse racing facilities in the country. It features stables that hold over one hundred thousand pounds of horses. The Park has long been one of the country's premier equestrian destinations, drawing crowds from all over the world. The Park's primary attraction is its three racecourses: Western Style (W), Bluegrass (B), and Sprint (S). A major feature of the sport is the trot, in which horses are galloped along a one-way straight of turf at a limited speed.
